Mark & Fiona's Wedding
The most memorable moment of the day for me was when The Groom promised his wife infidelity during the exchanging of vows. Fortunately for Mark everyone had a laugh and the priest let him start again, promising to be faithful and to love her always. It was a beautiful wedding ceremony which was held in the same church Fiona's parents were married in. What made it even more special was Fiona chose to wear her mum's veil when she walked down the aisle with her dad by her side. I was so excited to see The Dress and was not disappointed, it was stunning with over 6000 hand sewn on beads. She looked amazing!
Outside the church champagne was flowing and oysters were being served. I love oysters but was afraid it would dribble down my dress so held back. Location photographs were taken in the Royal Botanical Gardens and on Morrell Bridge which had a great view of the city. Celebrations continued at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in the Long Room but first we had a chance to have some fun on the cricked ground. Well at least the boys had a ball. I think it was Mark's favourite part of the day; getting out the cricket gear and having a swing of the bat. His new wife was a sport posing for pictures with the bridesmaids.
There was lots of laughter, dancing and smiles throughout the night. Mark and Fiona are a beautiful couple and I wish them all the happiness in the world in the next chapter of their lives.
