Di & Julian live in London but officially got married in Melbourne where the bride grew up. I have known Di since we were teenagers so it was a beautiful to be part of her special day. I am so happy she found her English prince charming and have a wonderful son together. The wedding was held at Siglo Bar which is perched over Spring Street, overlooking St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the grandeur of Parliament House. The rooftop terrace was the perfect setting for them to exchange wedding vows. The groom's fully memorised vows left us all teary, it was very touching and also had us all in smiles. He promised to treat her like a princess and there was more I can't remember, but wished I had a copy to re-read! It was a beautifully sweet wedding celebration. A very happy day for a very happy couple. 

 

The wedding celebrations continued months later when they had their London Garden Wedding Party at Portman Square Gardens. There was sunshine, Pimms, fish and chips, and typical London; a few bursts of rain. Wedding guests were able to hide out in the marquee tent while the rain passed through. As a UK Wedding Photographer I am always concerned about the weather and hope only for overcast days. Di & Julian's London Wedding was a romantic day with the light rain and warm weather, another special and joyous event.
