Merton Register Office is a Grade 2 listed building in the beautiful Morden Park House. It is set in a beautiful park with charming marriage rooms with the Sheridan room being my favourite! Other rooms include Georgian, Lord Nelson and Ewart room. You can now also have your wedding in the gorgeous courtyard which can hold up to 100 guests. Wedding Ceremony: Merton Register Office, Morden Park House
How cute are these two love birds! The bride and groom tied the knot at Merton Register Office in a Grade 2 listed building in Morden Park House. The Georgian building was so beautiful, I wished all London register offices looked like this one. It was set in a lovely park with wonderfully decorated marriage rooms. As a wedding photographer I always arrive earlier than asked. On this occasion I was early enough that I was able to visit and photograph the three ceremony rooms, really lovely wedding venue.
Okay back to the cute couple. The groom looked very dapper in his yellow braces and bow tie. The bride was very relaxed, turned up in flip flops (typical Aussie) and a coffee stained dress! Coffee at McDonald's drive thru was maybe not such a good idea. The groom also was victim to the flying coffee. I think I was more upset than the couple, It was a laugh, makes a great story! She did swap the flip flops for some Jimmy Choos before saying I do.

The Lord Nelson Room
The Lord Nelson Room has been beautifully decorated in pale lemon and vivid blue. It has lovely Georgian bay windows and a crystal chandelier with a great view of the stunning courtyard. The room has a wonderful ambience, making the room perfect for any ceremony. The room can seat up to 40 wedding guests.
The Ewart Room
The Ewart Room is located at the top of Morden Park House and can seat up to 100 guests. If you decide to get married here the staircase will be for your exclusive use from the moment you arrive. The room is large enough to have live music such as a string quartet, a nice touch to any wedding ceremony!
The Sheridan Room
The Sheridan Room has been redecorated in neutral colours with wooden floorboards. Looks great and a nice change! These photos were taken during Christmas time hence the festive feel.
